The 15-year-old actress opened up to the glossy about her career, her favorite charities, and more. Check it: On not changing after fame: “Who I am today mostly has to do with my family and my mom keeping me grounded and being able to be involved with foundations. It’s helped me see the real world and I’m so thankful for that.” On her most difficult role: “It’s so incredible to play young Snow White, a younger version of Ginnifer Goodwin, because she is so specific and exquisite in everything she does. For me, the challenge is trying to make her proud, trying to find “Snow moments” that she has already effortlessly created. I watch clips, try to crunch my eyebrows like her or even copy how she breathes. It’s a continuous challenge that I love to be a part of.” On advice to aspiring stars: “Anything is possible! It might take five minutes, five days or five years, but if you love it then keep with it. Then you can at least say that you tried and you gave it your best.” For more on Bailee, visit ThrifyHunter.com

Disneyversario: LOS CAMBIOS EN LOGO DE DISNEY DESDE 1923 HASTA EL DÍA DE HOY

Disney. ¡Feliz aniversario!

Disneyversario: Disney XD Orders Second Season of Lucasfilm's Animated-Triumph "Star Wars Rebels" Ahead of Its Television Premiere

DISNEY XD ORDERS SECOND SEASON OF LUCASFILM'S ANIMATED-TRIUMPH "STAR WARS REBELS" AHEAD OF ITS TELEVISION PREMIERE THE FORCE IS STRONG FOR LUCASFILM'S ANIMATED-TRIUMPH "STAR WARS REBELS" DISNEY XD ORDERS SECOND SEASON AHEAD OF TELEVISION PREMIERE One day ahead of a highly anticipated television premiere, Disney Channels Worldwide President and Chief Creative Officer, Gary Marsh, announced plans to produce a second season of the animated series "Star Wars Rebels" from Lucasfilm. Marsh said, "The global expectations for this series could not have been any higher. And I am proud to say that the team at Lucasfilm has delivered something that has surpassed even that incredibly high bar – artistically and thematically." "Star Wars Rebels" has received acclaim from critics and fans alike since its advance debut screening at San Diego Comic-Con in July, followed by special previews this week on WATCH Disney XD and other digital platforms. "Star Wars Rebels" will be introduced via a television movie, "Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion," premiering FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel in the U.S. and MONDAY, OCTOBER 6 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD in the U.S. It ushers in the series beginning MONDAY, OCTOBER 13 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD in the U.S. The series will air in 34 languages across 163 countries in over 400 million households. "We all love making 'Rebels,' so we couldn't be happier that it's moving into a second season," says Lucasfilm VP of Creative Development, Kiri Hart. "Our fantastic creative team is dreaming up new stories for the crew of the Ghost that will expand their experience of the galaxy and deepen their heroes' journeys. The fan response to the show has been amazing, humbling and inspiring. We're looking forward to the adventure ahead." The creative team behind the second season of "Star Wars Rebels" includes Executive Producers Simon Kinberg and Dave Filoni, and Co-Executive Producer and Supervising Writer Henry Gilroy. "Star Wars Rebels" continues the epic story-telling tradition that has captivated generations of "Star Wars" fans since 1977. Its story is set in the era between the film's prequel trilogy and original trilogy and is in a unique position to bridge the two both aesthetically and generationally. Honoring the past while moving boldly into the future, it features fantastic icons from "Star Wars" while introducing a new generation to the far corners of the galaxy, one full of exotic new creatures and characters. "…scads of action, beautiful animation and fidelity to the original's spirit." – Variety "…a rich color palette…reminiscent of the work of Hayao Miyazaki, the Japanese animé master." – The New York Times "Rebels' does a great job of capturing a true 'adventure' feel." – IGN "I've seen the premiere of the show and can attest completely to the vibe hearkening back to the original film. It somehow takes the coolest elements you'd expect from the dark time, with Jedi on the run and a truly evil Imperial presence, and matches it with the comedic tone of adventure of the original Star Wars film." – Huffington Post In the Disney Channels Worldwide portfolio, there are 42 Disney Channels and 30 Disney XD channels, in 34 languages, reaching hundreds of millions of viewers around the globe. Disneyversario: Legal sparring between Disney and Deadmau5 reveals existence of new Fantasia project?

To say that the Walt Disney Company is known for the fierce protection of its intellectual property (copyright, trademarks, etc) is probably the understatement of the year. So I was not surprised when they asked musician Deadmau5 (aka Joel Zimmerman) not to trademark his ‘trademark’ DJ costume. Like the name implies, it resembles a mouse. Disney has a trademark on the look and feel of Mickey Mouse so they were understandably worried. But the two really don’t have anything in common other than what mice naturally share (ears, eyes, and a mouth). I think Disney might be making a mountain out of a molehill on this one. As a creature, a mouse is pretty ubiquitous. No one, even an idiot in a hurry, is going to confuse the technopunk Deadmau5 headpiece with the classic Mickey Mouse silhouette. Letting Zimmerman have his intellectual property appear on toys, clothing, or other products will in no way harm Disney’s vast wealth in the same arena. Since I expect Deadmau5 to win pretty handily in court, I’ve been paying attention to the case only loosely. But a story in The Hollywood Reporter today, caught my attention. Turns out, while one arm of Disney was preparing to sue Deadmau5, another appendage was asking him to collaborate. Disney’s music division asked him if he wanted to produce some music for Disney’s new animated series Star Wars Rebels. But he lost that opportunity because of the dispute. Disney, through a third party, also offered him the opportunity of contributing to a live concert series commemorating the 75th anniversary of Fantasia. In the invitation, Disney’s business partner states: “Deadmau5 is the most innovative musician of our time, and Disney the most successful entertainment brand to ever exist. Bringing these two visionaries together, with this particular franchise, provides for an incredible opportunity that could touch millions of people around the world.” They even sent Deadmau5 a mockup of his intellectual property combined with Disneys iconic Sorcerer Mickey (above). How would that have worked? Disney would have had DeadMau5 compose a 90 minute re-imagining of the original Fantasia to which Disney would add new visuals. It would be performed live at the Hollywood Bowl, filmed, and used to kick off a whole concert series that would play in iconic venues around the world. That idea is Fantastic! I’m not sure it’s in the spirit of the original Fantasia, but it does jive with the goal of exposing classical and modern forms of music to new audiences. As far as I can tell, that concert series never made it past the planning phase (the first concert would be next month had it launched). A shame, I think Deadmau5 would have made a fantastic contributor to Disney’s legacy. Now his victory in court will just be a footnote. 8 Tips On How To Make Your Bra More Comfortable

I have a love/hate relationship with bras. I love them because they keep my boobs neatly in place – and I need that because they’re definitely on the bigger side (I’m not into the idea of them just flopping around, you know?). Even though I feel uncomfortable without a bra, sometimes I feel more uncomfortable when wearing a bra, because, let’s face it – bras can suck sometimes. Whether it’s the strap sliding down my arm, the underwire starting to poke through the fabric, or my boobs popping out of the cups, it’s the worst. Luckily, there are ways to make wearing a bra better… and they don’t all involve spending money on a new bra. Sometimes, even when your bra is the right size, it’s just not that comfy.

Disneyversario: Disneyland Resort Review: Mickey’s Halloween Party 2014

Most the time in life one wouldn’t rave about a “lightly attended” party., but when the party is at Disneyland, that is, like many elements of Mickey’s Halloween Party, worth mentioning. But the light crowd isn’t for lack of trying. In fact it is intentional. So that’s different. And so is the fact that Guests are encouraged to wear costumes to the event, a usually verboten practice. Mickey’s Halloween Party, which over the years has gone by several different names, is a separately ticketed event where guests can enjoy (not so) scary Halloween fun. There is a “mix-in” period available for Guests who want to arrive a bit early. Once the Day Guests, who don’t have wristbands are… eliminated, you will be chillin’ like a villain. The California party is a variant of “Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party” held in The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. The party on Tuesday, September 30 was a sold out event, but it never felt like it. Sure, their were some long-ish lines for some of the photo opportunities and of course, at times for the Haunted Mansion in its Nightmare Before Christmas costume. But overall the capacity for the event I attended seemed set nice and low, making for a really enjoyable evening. Special lighting and music bump the “creep factor.’
In Ghost Galaxy, no one can hear you scream. A chance to ride Space Mountain in nearly total darkness.
You can’t swing a cat without hitting a Trick or Treat station at the Mickey’s party.
All Bad-ies; All the time in Town Square. Villain photo opportunities are popular.
“She seems nice.”
Halloween can be a time for mentoring.
I think the first couple “phoned these costumes in.” I mean, what are they supposed to “be?”
Great expectation…
A box of raisins in your candy bag. Photo © Disney The hit of the night was was the special nighttime show – Halloween Screams: A Villainous Surprise in the Skies – an unwieldily name for an excellent fireworks spectacular.
Your host: Jack Skelington. Seen here as a scary Jack-O-Lantern. Jack and other members of this terrifying troop are projected onto a large helium balloon.
The “globe” is a really effective trick and adds to the very different atmospheres that “Screams” evokes.
All in all, Mickey’s Halloween Party is an excellent experience. The best part being the slight number of Guests – roughly half the “population” of a normal day in the park. These events are nearly sold out, so if you want to try a different Disneyland Park experience, act now.
Hurry back. Hurry back… Read More: http://wdwnt.com/blog/2014/10/disneyland-resort-review-mickeys-halloween-party-2014/
