'Brooklyn Nine-Nine,' 'The Expanse' & Other TV Shows Moving to New Networks Next Year

New year, new network.

Some of your favorite shows are swapping their homes for something new and improved. The most notable save is NBC's pick-up of the cop comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, after it was surprisingly cancelled following five seasons by Fox.

The Peacock has ordered a sixth season with 13 episodes.

Fox must have been making room for Last Man Standing since it revived the Tim Allen comedy after the show was canceled last year by ABC after six seasons.

Another show that was canceled was The Expanse at Syfy (pictured at top). The network decided to end the space drama after only three seasons, and now Amazon Studios is coming to the rescue. The streaming service is picking up sci-fi series for a fourth season.

It was recently rumored that the upcoming (and potential final) fourth season of the Bachelor-inspired dating show, UnREAL, will reportedly air on Hulu instead of its current home network, Lifetime, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The upcoming season has already been cut down from 10 to 8 episodes but if the show does well on Hulu, they could order more.

It's not unusual for shows to jump ship. In past years, many canceled network shows have moved on to cable channels, like ABC's Cougar Town move to TBS, ABC's Nashville pick up at CMT, and Southland moving from NBC to TNT.

And we can't forget The Mindy Project being saved by Hulu after it was axed at Fox.

One thing that can really save a show's future is social media. Fox canceled Lucifer in May and fans were in uproar, so they took to Twitter to try and convince the network it was making a mistake. The hashtag #SaveLucifer was trending for days.

This Might Be Hannah Baker's Most Shocking Secret in "13 Reasons Why" Season 2

Did you catch it in the last episode?

Warning: Contains spoilers for season 2 of 13 Reasons Why.

In the last episode of 13 Reasons Why season two, following Hannah's funeral, Clay hosts a gathering for Hannah's family and friends at Monet's. Hannah's mom Olivia attends and says her goodbyes to Clay, but before she leaves, she gives him a list she found in one of her old computers.

As it turns out, Hannah wrote out 11 reasons why she should not take her own life, and Clay was two of the reasons."Eleven reasons, she came up just short. She left so many out. You know that, don't you? No matter how many reasons there might be why, there are always more why not," she tells him. It was a super quick moment, so in case you didn't catch them all, you can read them, below.

Mom and Dad: They will blame themselves, and it's not their fault.

New York: I could get there someday. If not college, then after college. And maybe I could start over there.

Clay: He will also think it's his fault, and it isn't. He'll think he could have saved me. But we can't save people, not that way at least — it's more complicated than that.

Writing: I might — might — write something great one day. Get it published. Even be a writer. Seems unlikely — but possible.

Dad: Loves me without question. Always wants what's best for me. Even though I'm mad at him, it would be unfair to him to leave.

Mom: I don't know if she could live through it. She is always so on edge already. But maybe that's already my fault. I know she loves me — I wish she knew that I knew.

Mom and Dad: Worked so hard to give me a better life. Would be letting them down.

Helmet: Is a genuinely good guy. And I genuinely like him. And maybe we're supposed to be together. Don't know. But maybe. If I go, we'll never find out.

Maybe: Someday I could make a difference in someone else's life.

Maybe: I'll have a kid of my own one day, and maybe she could be that someone else.

Maybe: It's not as bad as I think it is. Maybe it will get better.

If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, connect with a counselor 24/7 at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by calling 1-800-273-8255, or by accessing the chat feature on their website. You can also visit the 13 Reasons Why website for more information on how to get help.

The Wildest Red Carpet Looks At The 2018 Billboard Music Awards

Once again, recording artist Z LaLa went big.

There was no shortage of wild and daring looks on the Billboard Music Awards red carpet in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

Stars like Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift brought their style A-games. But when it came to really making a statement, influencers like Patrick Starr, dressed like a literal bloomed flower, and Chantel Jeffries, in a bold catsuit, really went for it. And, as always, recording artist Z LaLa delivered, with a wild, golden ensemble and a massive beehive hairdo.

Check out some of the night’s wildest and most daring looks:

Frankie J. Grande

The TV host’s short suit is one few others could pull off. Paired with the sparkly shoes, it’s a bold look, for sure.

Patrick Starrr

The influencer served up some serious flower power.

Z LaLa

Recording artist Z LaLa never fails to deliver on a wild red carpet outfit. This gold look was no exception.

Riff Raff

We can always count on rapper Riff Raff to wear something outside the box.

DJ Pauly D with The Ritas

“Jersey Shore” star Pauly D’s guests definitely stole the show in their wild ensembles.

Cheryl James and DJ Spinderella of Salt-N-Pepa

Rapper Cheryl James’ (left) sheer black dress was bold, that’s for sure.

Bebe Rexha

The singer’s sleeves are definitely wild.

Normani

Singer Normani gave Angelia Jolie a run for her money with this sheer, ultrahigh-slit dress.

Demi Lovato

If there’s one person who can pull of a full leopard print, it’s Demi Lovato.

#BBMAs: Hottest Red Carpet Looks!

Hello sweet thangs!

So tonight is the Billboard Music Awards 2019 aka the #BBMAs! The red carpet has already begun, and though not everyone has hit it YET, I thought I would collect the photos of the artists who have already touched down! OMG Shawn Mendes looks amazing in his suit, he's really coming into his own as an artist AND as a man! One of my pop crushes Dua Lipa is there (and performing) and WOW, she looks gorgeous in this amazing shade of purple! She is so beyond gorgeous and, of course, talented, it's not even funny!

Normani is also there and looks incredible.. she is performing "Love Lies" with Khalid which is exciting as she is now solo! Also hitting the carpet so far is BTS!!! The #BTSArmy is so pumped for the show and to see their fave! Host Kelly Clarkson looks amazing as well, she has such a great personality so I have no doubt she will kill it as MC of the evening! Can't forget uber-producer and artist Diplo.. he's so handsome! Also Julia Michaels looking gorg! Can't wait to see Ari and Xtina..

The show will be amazing with performances also from Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato + Christina Aguilera + much more! Hit me up and let me know what your favorite parts were! Had a blast on air at Z100 this weekend! Love when you connect with me- makes me so happy!

Selena Gomez Reps Taylor Swift’s Merch After Joining Her On Stage

Selena Gomez looks happy as she leaves the Rose Bowl on Saturday night (May 19) in Pasadena, Calif.

The 25-year-old entertainer wore a reputation Tour t-shirt as she left the concert.

Earlier in the night, Selena joined pal Taylor Swift on stage to perform "Hands To Myself" for the packed crowd.

Later in the night, Taylor and Selena revealed on her Instagram Story that "Hands To Myself" is Taylor's favorite song of Selena's.

Selena was also nominated for Top Dance/Electronic Song for "It Ain't Me" with Kygo at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards tonight (May 20). Unfortunately they already lost out to the The Chainsmokers and Coldplay's "Something Just Like This."

5 Things We're Looking Forward to at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards Tonight

Sunday is coming up fast for music lovers, and the 2018 Billboard Music Awards will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas before we know it. The level of talent on deck is astonishing, with performances from Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and so many more.

The BBMAs, which will be broadcast on NBC (details here), should be an amazing precursor to a scorching-hot music season this summer. Without further ado, here are five things we couldn’t be more excited about for this year’s awards.

Team-Ups, Team-Ups & More Team-Ups

Three great duets are planned for this year (so far), including performances from Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato, Macklemore and Kesha, and even the triple-threat of Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey. What will these collaborations -- some of which we don’t see very often -- reap at the BBMAs? Expect some surprises.

First Performances of New Songs

Christina and Demi will be debuting their empowering duet “Fall in Line” in front of a live audience for the first time. With its outspoken message and subject matter, that’s sure to get social media buzzing. That’s not all: Korean boy band sensation BTS is set to perform “Fake Love” -- which they’ve been teasing extensively -- for the first time as well, and Shawn Mendes and Khalid are teaming up for the first TV performance of their collaboration "Youth."

Ariana Set to Slay With “No Tears Left to Cry” Performance

Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left to Cry” is an ebullient, picking-up-the-pieces jam that has resonated since its release last month -- especially as the victims and families affected by the Manchester bombing outside her 2017 concert continue to heal. Her performance of this top 10 hit is sure to bring the house down.

A Seriously Close Race in the Top New Artist Category

Will our top new artist of 2018 be Cardi B, whose sensational Invasion of Privacy hit this year like a meteor? 21 Savage, whose feature with Post Malone hit the Hot 100 at No. 1? Khalid, Kodak Black or Camila Cabelo, all of whom have had a titanic impact this year in their own rights by giving us instant classics like “Location” and “Havana”? This is set to be a seriously close race.

Ed Sheeran Beaming In From Dublin

Sheeran pops up a lot this year, with nominations in the top artist, top Hot 100 artist, top male artist, top song sales artist and top Hot 100 song categories… phew! While he won’t be in Vegas for the awards show, he will beam in a live performance on location from Dublin, where he’s still in the midst of his massive, ongoing stadium tour.

How the Charmed reboot updates the Power of Three

Charmed is sacred territory to those who still invoke the Power of Three, so not everyone has been too eager to embrace the CW’s self-proclaimed “fierce, funny, feminist” reboot. Even some of the original stars weighed in — and not necessarily to offer their blessings. Jane the Virgin’s Jennie Snyder Urman teamed with Jessica O’Toole and Amy Rardin to conjure this new take on the Charmed Ones, three sister witches who battle demons and other forces of evil. Network head Mark Pedowitz hopes fans will “give this new pass a chance,” but there are still some vocal skeptics. With the television upfronts, we now have a trailer and new details about how the revival separates itself from the original, while also paying its dues to what came before. At the very least, doubters will have a better idea of what’s coming.

Maggie vs. Phoebe

Reboot: Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) is the bubbly youngest child of the Vera family. A student at Hilltowne University, she’s hoping to gain membership in a sorority — but her newly awakened powers might put a damper on those dreams. Maggie learns she has telepathy, something she believes must be a prank when the thoughts of her fellow sorority hopefuls begin overwhelming her.

Original: Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) was always the “problem child” of the Halliwell sisters. She maintained a bad-girl edge most of her adult life, until the death of her grandmother compelled her to reconnect with her sisters. Phoebe’s power of premonition (which later grew to encompass other abilities) would often warn the Halliwells of impending danger or pinpoint a new innocent life to save. In addition to the change of power set with the youngest sister, fans will also note the siblings of the reboot all bear names beginning with M instead of P. Instead of Halliwell, the reboot’s family name is Vera.

Melanie vs. Piper

Reboot: Mel (Melonie Diaz) is the social justice warrior of the family. You’ll notice in the Charmed trailer how she punches a man in front of a bunch of Time’s Up signs. But she loses her way after her mother’s death, sending her on a path to prove it wasn’t an accident. When a stranger arrives on her doorstep with shocking news, she now has to go from being the eldest sister to the middle one. With the power to freeze time, Mel seems like the one to galvanize the other sisters into accepting their collective destiny, while that was Phoebe’s M.O. in the original.

Original: Piper (Hollie Marie Combs) also had to endure a familial shift. She had always been the middle sister of Phoebe and Prue, but when her big sister died at the hands of a demon, she became the eldest. She too wielded a time-freezing power, though her ability could not move past rooms or doorways, whereas Mel seems to be able to freeze everything. (As Piper’s powers grew, so did their range. And there were some episodes that contradicted this Wiccan rule.) The Halliwells were older than the Veras, Piper began working in restaurants before owning her own club, P3 — named after the three P-named Halliwells.

Macy vs. Prue

Reboot: Macy Vaughn (Madeleine Mantock) is the mysterious third sister the Veras never knew they had. After a family tragedy, the geneticist comes knocking on their door, revealing herself to be a long-lost sibling kept secret by their mother all these years. Mel initially shuts her down, since she can’t handle another shocker. The change in last name suggests she has foster parents. With telekinesis as her gift, Macy also seems to be a conglomerate of Prue Halliwell and Paige Matthews.

Original: Prue (Shannen Doherty) always felt pressured to be the breadwinner of the family, forcing her into a career at Buckland’s Auction House. As the eldest sister, she was also considered the most powerful. Prue was killed off in a demon attack in the season 3 finale, paving the way for the introduction of Paige (Rose McGowan). Patty Halliwell, the sisters’ mother, had Paige with her Whitelighter, an angelic guide for witches. Because it was forbidden, she had to give Paige up for adoption.

Harry vs. Leo

Reboot: Harry Greenwood (Rupert Evans) seems like the Veras’ version of a Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He poses as the chair of the women’s studies department at Hilltowne but is really the family’s Whitelighter. There’s no “orbing” to be seen so far in the series trailer, but he does seem to have a few magical tricks, including vanishing the sisters’ restraints.

Original: Leo Wyatt (Brian Krause), initially disguised as a handyman, served as the Halliwells’ Whitelighter before becoming part of the family. A Whitelighter is an angel assigned to a witch coven by the powers that be (a.k.a. the Elders) for guidance — and also healing after supernatural attacks. Though relationships between witches and Whitelighters were forbidden, he shacked up with Piper anyway. The two later married and gave birth to half-Whitelighter children.

Marisol vs. Patty

Reboot: Marisol (Valerie Cruz) is the mother of the Charmed Ones. A witch herself, she cast a spell to bind her daughters’ magic so they could live normal lives. She was in the middle of unbinding their powers when she was attacked and killed by some supernatural force.

Original: It was actually the Halliwells’ grandmother (Jennifer Rhodes) who bound the sisters’ magic to protect them from a warlock. After her death, her spell broke and awoke their abilities. Patty (Finola Hughes), the girls’ mother, had already died years earlier in a demonic attack. Both women would return throughout the series in ghost form to aid the Halliwells.

Nico vs. Andy

Reboot: Nico (Ellen Tamaki) is a police investigator who’s been in an on-and-off relationship with Mel. It appears from the trailer she’s also looking into the death of Marisol.

Original: Prue was in a similar entanglement with Detective Andy Trudeau (Ted King), who eventually died at the hands of a demon.

The Book of Shadows

Reboot: The Veras are given a Book of Shadows, their mother’s tome of witchcraft, by their Whitelighter. It’s a guide for them to “protect the innocent and vanquish demons.” One hope, considering the diverse casting of the Vera and Vaughn sisters, is that the reboot will delve more deeply (and authentically) into different kinds of magic, like brujería and voodoo.

Original: Each coven maintained a Book of Shadows, an encyclopedia of spells, potions, rituals, artifacts, and supernatural entities passed down from family member to family member. It just so happened that the Halliwells’ Book of Shadows was the most powerful. Magic in the original series came with all sorts of rules, like good witches couldn’t use their magic on other good witches, no evil force could physically touch the Halliwell Book of Shadows, and any spell cast for personal gain would rebound with karmic consequences. Some inconsistencies arose as magic became more complicated over the years and rules were broken and tweaked by the writers.

The manor

The home of the new Charmed Ones is almost a mirror image of the Halliwell manor, which was planted on a place of power. It rested on the prison of the Shadow, which took the form of a living black cloud.

The attic

The attic too holds similarities to the original. In both, this is a place where the sisters gather to perform spells, consult the Book of Shadows, and kick demonic ass on occasion.

Spirit board

In the original series, Phoebe was playing around with the family spirit board when it spelled out “attic,” which had always been blocked off. She found the door mysteriously open, leading her to stumble on the Book of Shadows and discover her Wiccan legacy. In the reboot, the sisters attempt to contact their mother through the spirit board and are irked when they find the pointer moving on its own.

Demons are a real threat — reboot or not. When the Charmed Ones’ power is activated, it attracts evil. Pitch-black eyes were a common marker of demonic entities in the original series, and the new trailer teases a scene that looks like a nod to the original. Piper had been dating a guy named Jeremy, who turned out to be a warlock. He only revealed himself when he confirmed their powers had awakened so he could then steal them. Maggie seems to be having what she hoped to be an intimate moment with a guy, who also turns out to be evil.

Rhyming is so 2000-and-late

Whenever the Halliwell sisters rhymed, magic was bound to happen. But the Veras are going for more of a Latin chant to vanquish demons.

Taking down demons

Once vanquished by the Halliwells, evil entities would vanish or disintegrate in a puff a smoke — a safeguard from the demonic underworld to not tip off the real world to the existence of magic. The same seems to go for the evil haunting the Veras.

And if you’re like us, you’ll be signing up for advance ticket access notifications at their website.

As if you needed more reasons to see Frozen live, the record-breaking musical features 12 new songs—yes, 12!—by the original Frozen songwriting duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (the pair recently won Best Original Song at the Oscars for Coco’s “Remember Me”), and it’s been nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical (Jennifer Lee), and Best Original Score (Anderson-Lopez and Lopez). Plus, you get to see Elsa in these awesome pants:

What more could you ask for?

Casting will also be announced at a later date, but in the meantime, you can head over to the official website for more information. Frozen will join the North American tours of The Lion King and Aladdin, which means we’ll be busy scheduling our calendars in the coming months.

Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort Executive Chef Robert Ciborowski drew upon his years of living and working in Kapalua, Hawaii as inspiration for the dishes.

The Pig and The Poke joins the event’s returning themed areas, which include Carnival Corner, Chinatown, Bubble Lounge and a Beer Garden. Each area offers specialty cuisine in immersive atmospheres.

The Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic offers guests unlimited tastings at more than 60 stations featuring culinary selections from the hotel’s award-winning restaurants and wine from more than 30 wineries amidst a festive backdrop of live entertainment on the hotel’s scenic causeway. Upgraded ticket options allow guests to enjoy access to a beer garden featuring a wide selection of craft beers and Oktoberfest-inspired cuisine. The event also includes hands-on seminars with the hotel’s chefs and certified beverage experts as well as a Sunday Bubbles Brunch.

Admission to The Pig and The Poke is included in the standard ticket price ($127). To see the complete menu and purchase tickets for this year’s event, head over to their official website.
