Happy DisneyVersary Forever: American Kennel Club’s ‘Canine Extravaganza’ returns to Orange County Convention Center

“Canine Extravaganza,” the country’s largest dog celebration is back in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center this December to rejoice in all things dogs.

Presented by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and Royal Canin, a global dog food brand, on Dec. 16-17, this event runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and has plenty of events and thousands of dogs for the whole family to meet and enjoy:

· Guests can meet and play with hundreds of dog breeds at AKC Meet the Breeds, an interactive and educational showcase that helps families learn which breeds are best suited for their lifestyle.
· Returning this year is the North American Diving Dogs competition, where the canine athletes will show off their water diving skills.
· Watch demonstrations at the Eukanuba Demonstration Ring including AKC Scent Work, AKC Trick Dogs, nutritional talks and more.
· Families can enjoy the Fun Zone, presented by PetPartners, where kids can participate in an array of activities.
· Scouts and 4-H groups can participate in the AKC Patch program where they can have fun while learning about dog shows.
· Shop through a large collection of vendors at the Doggie Boutique mall and pick up the perfect gift for the pet or pet lover in your life in time for the holidays.

Canine Extravaganza is also the host of the 2017 AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin, where the nation’s top dogs will compete for “Best in Show,” and the highest cash prize offered at any AKC Dog Show. Other events will include the AKC Obedience Classic, the AKC Agility Invitational, the National Owner-Handled Series finals, and Juniors competition in Conformation, Agility, Obedience and Rally.

For those who won’t be able to make it to the event, coverage will be offered for free through live streaming video at akc.org and live.royalcanin.com. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit akc.org or canineextravaganza.com.

DisneyVersary 2017 - REVIEW: The Chocolate Studio in Future World, Epcot International Food and Wine Festival 2017

Welcome to a marketplace review for the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival 2017, taking place in the park from August 31st through November 13th, 2017. This review will cover “The Chocolate Studio”, which is located in Future World West in the pathway to World Showcase near the Imagination pavilion.

The Chocolate Studio

Food:
  • Liquid Nitro Chocolate-Almond Truffle with Warm Whiskey Caramel –  $4.75
  • Sweet Dark Chocolate Raspberry Torte with Whipped Cream and Raspberry Dust –  $4.25
Beverages:
  • Justin Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles –  $7.00
  • Banfi Rosa Regale, Piedmont –  $9.00
  • Lenotti Recioto della Valpolicella, Veneto –  $10.00
  • RL Buller Fine Muscat, Rutherglen –  $6.00

Liquid Nitro Chocolate-Almond Truffle with Warm Whiskey Caramel –  $4.75

The Liquid Nitro Truffle is still a delight and still on our absolute must list for the event for all the reasons we have been saying for years now.

Sweet Dark Chocolate Raspberry Torte with Whipped Cream and Raspberry Dust –  $4.25

For those who prefer a dark chocolate flavor, the raspberry torte is absolutely sublime. A nice alternative to the truffle… or you could just get both…

Justin Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles –  $7.00

This comes in around $30 a bottle outside of the festival, so $7 for a glass isn’t a terrible deal considering the majority of the festival prices. Pairs well with either chocolate dessert and it’s perfectly enjoyable.

Banfi Rosa Regale, Piedmont –  $9.00

This is that bright red translucent wine that comes up whenever chocolate is advertised somewhere. It’s not bad, but $9 a glass is hard to swallow considering how readily available and inexpensive the wine is elsewhere.

Lenotti Recioto della Valpolicella, Veneto –  $10.00

Fairly unique and difficult to find outside of the festival, we recommend this purchase which pairs well with the chocolates.

RL Buller Fine Muscat, Rutherglen –  $6.00

Another fairly interesting wine for the festival, high ratings across the board on many wine enthusiast websites, and at $6 a glass it feels validated.

The 2017 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards are on their way!

With just a day until Toronto's big musical event of the weekend, we're here to answer all of your burning questions about the show, the nominees, the performances and more. The MMVAs is an annual ceremony held in Toronto to honor the year's best music videos. Notable "Video of the Year" past winners include "Gotta Be Somebody" by Nickelback, "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen and last year's "Hotline Bling" by Drake.

This year marks the 27th show in the ceremony's history after launching in 1990. Here's a breakdown of what's in store for 2017:

1. Who's Running the Show?

There can't be a show without a ringleader—or two! This year, Joe Jonas and Alessia Cara will keep everything running smoothly. Of course, you know the former Jonas Brother as a part of this year's nominated group, DNCE. As for Cara, you haven't been able to get her hit track, "Stay" out of your head all spring.

In addition to the two hosts, the lineup of award presenters includes 13 Reasons Why star Brandon Flynn, WWE champ Nikki Bella, Victoria's Secret Angel Martha Hunt and Pretty Little Liars' Shay Mitchell.

2. Who Can Win?

There are dozens of stars nominated for awards this year, including Shawn Mendes, who's up for the coveted "Video of the Year" for "Mercy." Additional nominees include Katy Perry, Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Ed Sheeran and Future for "International Artist of the Year" as well as Iggy Azalea and Lady Gaga for "Most Buzzworthy International Artist or Group." Justin Bieber, Drake, Cara, The Weeknd and Mendes are all up for "Most Buzzworthy Canadian Artist."

As for "International Duo or Group of the Year," DNCE, Imagine Dragons, Migos, The Chainsmokersand Twenty One Pilots have all been nominated.

3. Will There Be Live Music?

Of course! it wouldn't be a music award show without some live entertainment. The slated performer's for this year's ceremony include Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Iggy Azalea, DNCE, Julia Michaels, Jazz Cartier, Niall Horan, Post Malone, Arkells and a newly solo Camila Cabello.

4. You Have a Say!

Get Olivia Munn’s Rosy Glow At the Billboard Music Awards 2017

You glow, girl! Olivia Munn hit the Billboard Music Awards 2017 Sunday, May 21 in an ornate sheer black gown with floral detail by Redemption and makeup done with a decidedly light hand.

The first step to a glowing-from-within flush: A thick moisturizer “to give extra hydration that will allow the makeup to lay beautifully on the skin,” says Ta. He applied it all over the face and under eyes to prevent creasing. He followed with foundation by La Mer, applied with a dense brush for a dewy finish. To brighten Munn’s eyes, he tapped in a concealer two shades lighter than skin with a beauty blender.
For the rosy cheeks, Ta layered shades and textures – and there was a twist! First, Ta applied Chanel’s cream bronzer to the hollows of the cheeks with a small blending brush “to give some dimension to the face.” Then he swirled Chanel Rouge Profound blush on apples of the cheeks with a fluffy brush, then mixed in a dab of shade Vibration, pressed in with a Beauty Blender. After powdering with La Mer loose powder to “allow skin to look dewy in all the right places,” he topped the high points of the cheekbones with Chanel’s Ombré Eyeshadow (yes, eyeshadow!) in Sable to “act as an illuminating powder to give extra sheen.”

Munn’s eyes sparkled thanks to a coat of Chanel’s creamy Illusion D’Ombre eye shadows New Moon in the crease and Convoitise on lids to act as primer. Powder shadow in Bronze Antique and Sable were brushed on top, and then Ta used a bit of the blush he used on cheeks on lids “to tie all the colors together.” After curling lashes and applying two coats of mascara, he popped on a few Ardell individual lashes.

Lips were kissed with Chanel Rouge Allure Ink in Luxuriant, followed by Seduction lip liner, Ta tells Us, “to create the perfect red carpet lip shape.”

Westgate Resort Hosted Armed Forces Families For Military Weekend 2017

Our Armed Forces Personnel sacrifice so much for us all to live in the “Land of the Free.” Westgate Resort hosted, along with sponsors such as Disney, Sea World, and Merlin Entertainment, to name a few about 1,000 military families this past weekend to enjoy time together as a family. The Military Weekend 2017 took place at Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort.

Many of the families were given complimentary tickets to some of the Central Florida Theme Parks, to include Walt Disney World and Sea World Orlando, for Saturday.
The families were also given a two nights stay at the Westgate Resort in Kissimmee.
The families were allowed complimentary access to Westgate’s beautiful Shipwreck Island Water Park located right on the grounds of the Resort.

Westgate Resort hosted a VIP Reception Saturday evening, from 5:30pm-7:00pm, overlooking the tranquil waters of the Resort.

Saturday evening concluded with a Color Guard Ceremony, the singing of The National Anthem, a speech given by COO Michael Waltrip and CEO David Siegel, and a Concert by country music artist Lee Greenwood followed by a Fireworks Spectacular.

The evening was emotionally charged with beautiful presentations, American Flags waving proudly, military families with so many different life stories to tell, and Patriotic Music. When Lee Greenwood sang “God Bless the USA” there was a not a dry eye on the Concert Green of Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort.

We wish to send our deepest appreciation to Katie Neumann of TJM Communications for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of honoring our military families during Westgate’s Military Weekend 2017.
